Library Computing
The Rowland Institute library has three public workstations, two
Macintosh (G4 w/cinema display and eMac with scanner) and one PC.
From any of these, one can:
access Harvard Libraries resources
access applications such as SciFinder Scholar
interact with Rowland network (Netrider)
print to Library printer (inside library office) or Library copier or other networked printers
The library eMac is equipped with a scanner and scanning software, including Adobe Illustrator,Photoshop,InDesign, and Acrobat. The scanner also includes trays for negatives (35mm), slide holder (35mm batch) film holder.(4"x5" 6cm x 9 cm), universal glass film holder. The Library PC has MSDS software on its desktop.
