Library Computing
The Rowland Institute library has three public workstations, two
macintosh (G4 w/cinema display and eMac with scanner) and one PC.
From any of these, one can:
- access Harvard Libraries resources
- access applications such as SciFinder Scholar
- interact with Rowland network (Netrider)
- print to Library printer (inside library office) or Library copier or other networked printers
- The library eMac is equipped with a scanner and scanning software, including:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Acrobat
- scanner also includes trays for negatives (35mm), slide holder (35mm batch) film holder
(4"x5" 6cm x 9 cm), universal glass film holder
The Library PC has MSDS software on its desktop
