The Rowland Institute library has three public workstations, two macintosh (G4 w/cinema display and eMac with scanner) and one PC.

From any of these, one can:

  • access Harvard Libraries resources


  • access applications such as SciFinder Scholar


  • interact with Rowland network (Netrider)


  • print to Library printer (inside library office) or Library copier or other networked printers


  • The library eMac is equipped with a scanner and scanning software, including:
    • Adobe Illustrator

    • Adobe Photoshop

    • Adobe InDesign

    • Adobe Acrobat

  • scanner also includes trays for negatives (35mm), slide holder (35mm batch) film holder (4"x5" 6cm x 9 cm), universal glass film holder
The Library PC has MSDS software on its desktop
